Balancing ACT: A Behavioral Science Approach to Achieving Self-Care as a Mother

Week by week, we delve into fundamental aspects of health, starting with foundational knowledge on the life-changing tools and exercises that are the core of acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT). This knowledge will act as a catalyst that will break down mental barriers so that you are free to conquer action steps week by week. We then shift focus to the basic needs of mothers (we are people too!) such as nutrition, a movement routine, stress management and sleep. During the third week we will concentrate on using research-based tactics to create goals that will hold you accountable and that will ensure success. As we progress, we explore the power of meditation and mindfulness. The program concludes by providing you with the tools to create resources that will support you and hold you true to your action steps throughout current and future health and wellness journeys. With expert guidance, peer support, and personalized attention, join us to nurture your well-being and rediscover your strength as a mother.
